The Department of Pediatrics seeks a full-time General Pediatric Cardiology Physician to join our growing team at CHRISTUS Children's, with primary clinic locations in New Braunfels and San Marcos, Texas. This position carries a faculty appointment within the Department of Pediatrics, a competitive salary, and a full benefits package. Summary
The successful candidate will provide comprehensive general pediatric cardiology care in the outpatient and inpatient settings, serving as the primary cardiologist for our New Braunfels and San Marcos clinics. The role blends broad clinical practice with the teaching and scholarly opportunities of an academic faculty appointment and offers the chance to help grow our regional outreach program.

Job Duties
Primary responsibilities include:
- Outpatient general cardiology clinics in New Braunfels and San Marcos.
- Inpatient care, including echocardiography and consult service.
- Outpatient clinic-based echocardiography and scheduled calls.
- Teach students and residents.
- Scholarly activity, QI, and research* as interest allows.
Minimum Qualifications
- M.D., D.O., or M.D./Ph.D. degree.
- Board certification in General Pediatrics with subspecialty certification in Pediatric Cardiology by the American Board of Pediatrics (or eligible for same).
- Licensed by the Texas Medical Board (or eligible for same).
- 3-5 years of related experience.
- Leadership experience, preferred.
- Clinical or scholarly interest in program development, quality improvement, or research, preferred.
