Job Description
The Department of Laboratory Medicine and Pathology together with the Center for Immunology (CFI) at the University of Minnesota Medical School seeks outstanding tenure-track faculty candidates at the rank of Assistant Professor to address foundational questions in immunology. We welcome applicants working across diverse areas, including but not limited to inflammation, immunity to infection, cancer immunology, neuroimmunology, systems immunology and tissue homeostasis. Successful candidates will develop innovative, externally funded research programs that advance the mechanistic understanding of immune function in health and disease.Candidates must hold a PhD and demonstrate a strong record of research productivity.
The faculty appointment will be in the Department of Laboratory Medicine and Pathology (http://www.med.umn.edu/pathology), which has a distinguished history of accomplishments in basic and clinical sciences. The successful candidate will be a core member of the CFI (https://med.umn.edu/immunology) and will be located within the Center, fostering close engagement in a highly collaborative and interactive research community. The University of Minnesota provides access to state-of-the-art core facilities, including advanced genomics, imaging and cytometry platforms. Pay and Benefits
Pay Range: $75,000 - 115,000 depending on education/qualifications/experience
Time Appointment: 100% Appointment
