As a Principal Engineering Manager in WEX, you will drive the AI transformation of SharePoint — enabling contextual discovery, generative knowledge creation, and intelligent collaboration across Microsoft 365. You’ll shape experiences that help millions of people and organizations work smarter every day, advancing Microsoft’s mission to empower every person and organization on the planet to achieve more.
As a key leader in WEX, you will own the architecture, delivery, and operational excellence of large-scale, cloud-first systems — spanning modern portals, enterprise search, AI-powered knowledge systems, and the SharePoint Framework (SPFx). You’ll lead engineering teams that infuse AI into every layer of the experience — from semantic search and summarization to generative page design, contextual assistance, and proactive knowledge surfacing — all deeply integrated within the Microsoft 365 ecosystem.
This role blends deep technical expertise, architectural leadership, and people management. You will oversee multiple engineering teams, partner closely with product, design, and Microsoft 365 platform organizations, and drive end-to-end strategy for intelligent web and AI experiences at scale. Your leadership will set the standard for engineering excellence, innovation velocity, and reliability across mission-critical SharePoint systems.
