The Lions Vision Research and Rehabilitation Center is inviting applications for the position of IT Specialist (AR/VR) Intern starting Summer of 2025 to support its sponsored research activities.



Specific Duties & Responsibilities

The IT Specialist’s primary responsibility is the design and development of AR/VR-based software solutions for head-mounted displays using the Unity game engine.


Minimum Qualifications
High School diploma or graduation equivalent.
Work experience in a professional environment including experience obtained through an internship or fellowship program is required.
Additional education may substitute for required experience and additional related experience may substitute for required education beyond HS diploma/graduation equivalent, to the extent permitted by the JHU equivalency formula.


Preferred Qualifications
Two years of experience with Unity game engine
UI/UX design
Eye tracking research
3D scanning
