Job Description
Job DutiesThe East Carolina University College of Nursing is currently seeking applications for a faculty position with interest and expertise in community health nursing. Faculty responsibilities include: planning, teaching, and evaluating theory and clinical courses that may include classroom /didactic and clinical instruction and online teaching.
The position may also involve the direct supervision of students in clinical settings.
Contingent upon availability of funds.
Minimum Education/Experience
Master’s degree in nursing from an appropriately accredited institution.
A valid non-restricted North Carolina nursing license is required upon employment.
Two years of clinical nursing experience is required.
License or Certification Required by Statute or Regulation
A valid non-restricted North Carolina nursing license is required upon employment.
Preferred Experience, Skills, Training/Education
A doctoral degree in Nursing is preferred.
Clinical and teaching experience in community health nursing is preferred.
Teaching experience and a national specialty certification is preferred.
