Physician| Hematologist (Lymphoma)| Duarte, CA

City of Hope National Medical Group is seeking applications for a full-time clinical faculty position for our Duarte, CA campus.

Led by Eileen Smith, MD, Francis & Kathleen McNamara Distinguished Chair in Hematology and Hematopoietic Cell Transplantation, and Alex Herrera, Division Chief of Lymphoma, our dedicated multidisciplinary team combines innovative research discoveries with superior clinical treatments to improve outcomes for patients.

This position is a rare opportunity to work in a 500+ member integrated, multidisciplinary Medical Group Practice serving a SoCal NCI-designated comprehensive cancer center. City of Hope is an expanding institution in both numbers of patients per year as well as infrastructure investment in clinical, academic and research facilities.

HIGHLIGHTS

  • Opportunity to participate in program development and growth/fellowship teaching, curriculum and core faculty appointment

CLINICAL DUTIES

  • 2-3 days outpatient clinic per week
  • Minimum of 6 weeks inpatient service per year

PAY & BENEFITS

Base Salary Range: (Associate-Full Professor level) $370K - $400K
The range listed is exclusively for base compensation for full-time employment and does not include incentive compensation or benefits. Actual compensation will be adjusted for experience, training, hospital/community need and other factors.

  • T-Cell lymphoma and Cutaneous lymphoma experience
  • Candidate should have working knowledge and experience as a clinical trialist and collaboration with basic and translational scientists. Candidates with clinical expertise and their own laboratory program are highly encouraged to apply.
  • Active or eligible for California medical license
  • ABIM board eligible/certified in Hematology
