Join our Automotive teams and apply now! We are now looking for a Senior Software Engineer for Automotive team based in Munich.

What you'll be doing:

  • Adapt NVIDIA DRIVE Functions for automotive OEM customers.

  • Design, develop and verify SW components to the NVIDIA DRIVE Interior Sensing SW stack

  • Bring-up of SW on target ECU platform, triage and fixing SW issues.

  • Perform vehicle test drives, debug SW issues on prototype cars and analyze the recorded data and logs in depth

  • Collaborate with OEMs and globally distributed NVIDIA teams daily to deliver excellent SW.

  • Support OEM customers remotely and on-site to integrate NVIDIA DRIVE SW into their vehicle computers.

What we need to see:

  • MS or higher in an engineering or technical field (Computer Science, Physics, Electrical, Mechanical, etc.)

  • 5+ years of practical experience in automotive embedded SW development and SW integration

  • Excellent C/C++ development skills and good knowledge of Python and shell scripts

  • Practical experience with debugging and fixing SW issues on prototype vehicles (with target OS environments Linux and/or QNX).

  • Computer vision, working with camera and radar sensors.

  • Knowledge on AUTOSAR tools/process – CAN, ETH protocols etc.

  • Hands-on experience with Prototype Vehicle Platform

  • Excellent interpersonal & communication skills. Ability to articulate knowledge and ideas concisely.

  • Highly motivated and well-organized. Working well with a minimum of supervision.

  • Willingness to travel as the need arises and a valid driving license.

Ways to stand out from the crowd:

  • Background with vehicle SW integration at OEM or Tier-1.

  • Knowledge of ML/DL techniques for Computer Vision, tuning, training, optimizing algorithms

  • Knowledge of standards like ASPICE & Automotive Safety ISO26262 and Automotive Security ISO/SAE 21434.

  • Passionate about Autonomous Driving, Interior Sensing, and related topics.
