Job Description

We are now looking for a System Software Application Engineer in our Taiwan, Taipei Office!

We are looking for System Application Engineer to engage with partner developing Notebook PC system with NVIDIA solutions targeting the best performance and power efficiency. You'll find the work is exciting, interesting, and meaningful to work for NVIDIA leading solutions into Notebook partners platform.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Work with customers to provide deep technical assistance in NVIDIA software requirements into customer platforms

  • Assist to achieve fully optimized design with NVIDIA products and provide customer feedback as to product features and software improvement

  • Joining activities of customers platform development, including bring up and feature validation, VBIOS customization and release

  • Working on customers issues analysis and root-causing

  • Required tools development cross NVIDIA product segments if needed

What we need to see:

  • BS or MS degree in Computer Science/Computer Engineering/Electrical Engineering or a related degree field

  • 5+ years of significant software development experience.

  • Good knowledge of x86 or ARM System Architecture and ACPI.

  • Familiar Linux skill/operation.

  • Experiences on SBIOS features developing specific for platforms. (MMIO, SMBus, IPMI, IOAPIC will be plus)

  • Experiences on Embedded Controller firmware features developing specific for Notebook platforms are plus

  • Skills of C++/ Python/ VB/ Linux Shell programming are strongly plus

  • Familiar with Modern Notebook system architecture, microprocessor and feature block implementations ( Audio, Camera, Sensor, etc)

  • Excellent communication skills, flexible in task assignments and working under pressures
