The Factory Software EPM team is seeking an experienced Manager to support our ongoing software and hardware integration efforts. This role provides an opportunity to exercise interpersonal, organizational, technical, analytical, and leadership skills. You will oversee a team of diverse EPMs who manage software deliverables to the factories during various hardware builds—from the development phase through mass production—for all of Apple’s hardware.

Description
Your team will focus on coordinating control runs at our factories to ensure smooth project rollouts. The success of our programs depends, in part, on your ability to create and drive strategic roadmaps and load balance your team. You will also drive and develop internal program processes to support efficiency. When issues arise, you must support in technical sessions with multi-functional teams and escalate when necessary. A strong manager in this role will possess technical acumen, familiarity with factory processes, and strong communication skills. Success in the role will focus on the ability to nurture, grow and empower the talent on the team without compromising program timelines.
Minimum Qualifications
- Prior experience managing team members in multiple office locations.
- Strong knowledge of software development lifecycle and methodologies
- Experience collaborating with engineering teams and senior leaders across the business to define requirements and prioritize requests
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in any analytical, quantitative, or technical field (engineering, math, computer science, finance, or similar) or have equivalent experience
- Successful track record of growing employees
- Proven ability to drive change through the positive influence of co-workers, leadership, and cross-functional teams
- Ability to learn and provide in-depth evaluations of complex engineering issues to various audiences
- Excellent communication skills
- Work well under limited supervision, use good judgment, and know when to seek guidance

- Excel in organizing, planning, and delivering against key milestones
