The Biopharma, Patient & CDI (C4) team builds and maintains the platforms and capabilities that enable Pfizer Business Units to connect digitally with our external customers and effectively engage and collaborate across teams internally. We seek a highly motivated Solution Engineer to join Pfizer’s Digital Technology team for Patient Support Services solution delivery for Pfizer’s Specialty Access Solution CoE. As a Data Analyst, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality, integrity, and availability of our organization's data assets. You will work closely with various stakeholders, including data owners, data users, and IT teams, to establish and enforce data governance policies and procedures. Your role will be critical in maintaining data accuracy, consistency, and compliance with regulatory requirements. Your focus and ability to meet team targets will help in completing critical deliverables. Your innovative use of communication tools and techniques will facilitate explaining difficult issues and establishing consensus between teams. Your hard work and focus will help make Pfizer ready to achieve new milestones and help patients.
Role Responsibilities
Define and enforce data governance policies, standards, and procedures to ensure data quality, integrity, and security.
Establish and maintain data dictionaries, data catalogs, and metadata repositories to document data assets and their lineage.
Monitor and evaluate data quality, identifying and resolving data anomalies and inconsistencies.
Conduct periodic data audits to assess data accuracy, completeness, and compliance with standards.
Develop and implement data validation and data cleansing processes to improve data quality.
Assist in the design and implementation of data governance frameworks and data lifecycle management processes.
You will have the opportunity to:
Collaborate with business units and data owners to understand data requirements, definitions, and business rules.
Coordinate across many stakeholders, creating a collaborative network with critical internal and external stakeholders. This can include outside contractors such as software vendors, data providers and specialty pharmacy customers.

Provide guidance and support to data users in understanding and adhering to data governance policies and procedures.
Stay up-to-date with industry best practices, emerging trends, and regulatory requirements related to data governance and data management.
Participate in data-related projects, providing subject matter expertise and ensuring data governance principles are followed.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
3+ years of relevant experience emphasizing application support, development, or systems engineering.
Proven experience as a Data Steward or in a similar role, with a strong understanding of data governance principles and practices.
Familiarity with data management concepts, such as data quality, data integration, data modeling, and data security.
Proficiency in data profiling, data analysis, and data cleansing techniques.
Knowledge of data governance frameworks and industry standards (e.g., DAMA, GDPR, HIPAA).
Excellent written, interpersonal, and oral communication skills, communicate and liaise broadly across functions and the global organization.
Strong analytical, critical thinking, and troubleshooting skills
Ambition to learn and utilize emerging technologies while working in a stimulating team environment.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Familiarity with data management tools and technologies (e.g., data cataloging tools, data quality tools)
Understanding of data privacy and security regulations
Professional certifications in data management or data governance (e.g., CDMP, DGSP)
Process-oriented with strong organization, project management and coordination skills.
Experience supporting applications and solutions in the pharmaceutical industry.
Ability to adapt to changing working conditions and work assignments, to be open, and motivated to learn and adopt innovative ideas and concepts.
Knowledge of database, storage, hosting, cloud, application, analytics and services technologies.
