The successful candidate:

Plans, directs, and coordinates the activities of the Pharmacy Department to ensure safe, appropriate, cost-effective pharmacy services while meeting all legal, accreditation and certification requirements. Director is responsible for overseeing all medication storage and preparation occurring in the pharmacy. Responsible for the operation of pharmacy services, oversight of staffing and operational costs, development of local service and clinical programs, fostering and maintaining relationships with hospital and Enterprise leadership, and local vendor relationship management in accordance with established policies and regulatory standards. Collaboration with clinical pharmacy leadership to ensure best pharmacy practices are implemented consistently within City of Hope.
Requirements:
Graduate of an ACPE-accredited School of Pharmacy (RPh or Pharm D)
License in good standing as issued by the applicable State Board of Pharmacy
Minimum 5 years pharmacy experience required with 3 years hospital pharmacy experience. Oncology pharmacy experience preferred.
Minimum of 2 years in role-supervising experience

Salary / Pay Rate Information:
Pay Rate: $69.36 - $121.53 / hour
