What You Will Achieve
The Learning & Development (L&D) Portfolio Sr. Manager will be responsible for partnering with L&D Strategy Leads and other teams within L&D to establish standards and processes, manage L&D project demand, lead portfolio prioritization and governance, and ensure a smooth process for learning operations. The Portfolio Sr. Manager will also be responsible for providing prioritization recommendations and portfolio status reporting with metrics to enable decision-making.
How You Will Achieve It
Collaborate with L&D Strategy Leads, the L&D Operations and Analytics team, and the Content and Learner Experience Innovation team to develop standards and processes to manage L&D initiative intake, prioritization, governance, and reporting of L&D projects/solutions
Develop the L&D master plan for approved projects and commitments including status, financials, interdependencies, issues, and risks
Lead the annual planning process to collect new demand and align L&D portfolio to budget / capacity targets and company priorities
Develop project prioritization methodologies to ensure learning solutions selected are aligned to strategic priorities and are of the highest value
Prioritize L&D programs and projects based on changing business needs, resource capacity constraints, risk exposure and interdependencies
Lead adoption and continuous improvement of tools and processes
Lead governance and portfolio status review meetings
Develop and provide portfolio dashboards, metrics, reports and investment recommendations
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree
7+ years of significant experience in Information Technology, or a mix of IT and finance/accounting
Advanced knowledge of IT portfolio management at a large organization
Demonstrated analytics and project portfolio management skills (project intake, resource demand planning, budget management)
Knowledge/experience with PPM tools
Strong facilitation skills in governance, project reviews, steering, and other project related meetings
Experience successfully navigating a large matrixed organization and managing multiple stakeholder interests
Strong business and financial acumen
Excellent oral, written and overall communication and presentation skills with the ability to interact effectively with colleagues across all functional areas of Pfizer, including senior leadership
Preferred Qualifications
Master's degree
PMP Certification
Demonstrated consulting experience, preferably by an HR consulting firm
Capability in Lean tools and/or desire to grow Lean capabilities to further drive continuous improvement
Candidate demonstrates a breadth of diverse leadership experiences and capabilities including: the ability to influence and collaborate with peers, develop and coach others, oversee and guide the work of other colleagues to achieve meaningful outcomes and create business impact.
Work Location Assignment:Must be able to work in assigned Pfizer office 2-3 days per week, or as needed by the business

The annual base salary for this position ranges from $117,300.00 to $195,500.00.* In addition, this position is eligible for participation in Pfizer’s Global Performance Plan with a bonus target of 17.5% of the base salary and eligibility to participate in our share based long term incentive program.
