Our team is responsible for development and support of infrastructure tools used by product engineers for build and verification of architectural, RTL, and gate level designs. As a software engineer, you will craft highly efficient software to automate and facilitate chip design and verification processes.

What You'll be Doing:

  • Work with outstanding engineers to craft and implement VLSI tools for RTL and physical design

  • Develop efficient and scalable infrastructure to enable project engineers with an emphasis on optimizing low level memory models and dataflow

  • Develop software tools in C++ to construct, analyze and validate designs at many different stages in the production flow

  • Research and develop software solutions to allow greater efficiency in architecture, hardware and software teams.

  • Optimize the daily workflows of the world's top chip modelers and designers.

What We Need to See:

  • Completing a Bachelor's Degree or higher in Computer Engineering (or equivalent experience).

  • Experienced with VLSI physical design.

  • Background with C++.

  • Understanding of data structures, computer architecture and computer science theory.

Ways to stand out from the crowd:

  • Good architecture and RTL design knowledge.

  • Solid understanding in modern C++, compilers, build systems, and databases.

  • Knowledge or experience with static and dynamic code analysis tools.

The base salary range is 104,000 USD - 189,750 USD. Your base salary will be determined based on your location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions.

You will also be eligible for equity and benefits. NVIDIA accepts applications on an ongoing basis.
