What You Will Achieve 

As a member of the project management team, you will oversee and manage the operational aspects of ongoing projects and serve as a liaison between project management and planning, project team and line management. You will review the status of projects and budgets; You will manage schedules and prepare status reports; and assess project issues and develop resolution to meet productivity, quality and client-satisfaction goals and objectives.  

As a Manager, your breadth of knowledge on internal or external business challenges will help us improve our products, processes and services. Your will guide us to lead projects by meeting objectives and preparing forecasts for resource requirements. Your risk-taking ability will help us advance new concepts and methodologies. You will provide technical guidance and oversight to team members and help in problem solving.

How You Will Achieve It  

  • Manages multiple projects/ ongoing work activities of moderate complexity within the department typically involving cross-functional representatives.

  • Utilize project management experience to ensure successful implementation against the established plans.  

  • Develop and lead cross-functional teams to deliver project goals through clear roles, responsibilities and escalation paths.  

  • Evaluate business case opportunities to reduce costs, improve quality, improve supply continuity through due diligence evaluations (assess costs, regulatory impact, return on investment); make proposals to senior leaders on recommendations.  

  • Prepare detailed project timeline plans using appropriate project tracking tools.  

  • Devise implementation plans, evolve with existing contingency plan and interact with the project team for risk identification, plan for mitigation and implementation throughout the project lifecycle.  

  • Identify areas and/or equipment that limit the flow of product and create initiatives to improve the project life cycle.  

  • Drive supplier management by monitoring the various suppliers providing services to the program and notifying the program manager of supplier performance issues.

  • Conduct regular project review meetings to monitor and control projects progress with respect to scope, time and cost.

  • Develop and maintain the knowledge databank of technical and functional outputs of the projects.  

  • Oversight of the supervisory staff including support of all departmental functions/objectives. 

  • Build and maintain a diverse and inclusive team culture and support Pfizer’s Diversity, Equity and Inclusion objectives within the business unit. 

Qualifications 

Must-Have 

  • Bachelors Degree and 5+ years of experience. 

  • Ability to utilize MS Office Suite, including MS Project or equivalent. 

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including listening, oral and written skills. 

  • People management experience. 

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to plan and execute projects. 

Nice-to-Have 

  • Masters degree and relevant pharmaceutical experience. 

  • Specific exposure to project management or delivery management in sterile pharmaceutical industry  

  • PMP Certificate or similar. 

  • Knowledge on Pharmaceutical Equipment and processes. 

  • Project management tools and techniques.

  • Knowledge of safety, good manufacturing principles and environmental regulatory requirements. 

 
Job Location: On premise, with relocation support available 

The annual base salary for this position ranges from $93,500.00 to $155,900.00. In addition, this position is eligible for participation in Pfizer’s Global Performance Plan with a bonus target of 12.5% of the base salary and eligibility to participate in our share based long term incentive program.
