Job Description
ROLE SUMMARY
The US ELIQUIS Healthcare Professional/Hospital Marketing Team is responsible for identifying and applying deep HCP insights to deliver our clinical and market leadership value proposition to healthcare professional customers. The ELIQUIS team operates as an Alliance with Bristol Myers Squibb. The Alliance between Pfizer & BMS is an environment that embraces strong communication and values the creation of great partnerships. ELIQUIS is a product maturing in its life cycle however is still experiencing double-digit growth supported by high ROI and robust promotional budget. ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
- Field Force Leadership meeting coordinator & POA Captain: manage the cycle of POA deployments working closely with marketing colleagues, HSSS, CV, Pfizer Connect and key field leadership throughout the year
- Congress strategy & execution lead across retail/hospital-focused congresses; support planning and execution of national and subnational congresses, and collect field guidance
- Operational management of Eliquis Starter Allocations and PROMOS inventory
- Lead Marketing enablement: development of marketing assets, IM Academy training materials for the sales force and weekly/monthly ELQ brand team and field leadership team communications (Marketing Spotlight)
- Lead all field force related engagements/communications including CV and HSSS monthly Advisory Boards and associated pull through of insights
- Oversee and manage HCP Expenses and Budget
FF Leadership Meeting Coordinator & POA Captain
- POA captain is the quarterback of the entire POA process.
- Orchestrate and tightly align on the POA objectives and the marketing executional plan
- Coordinate field leadership meeting content in partnership with broad Marketing team
- Responsible for timely submission of POA materials and oversee day-of delivery
- Manage POA follow-ups including material dissemination
- Ensure POA marketing strategies are pulled though and executed seamlessly to the field
Congress Strategy / Execution
- Plan, design and structure HCP congress and display strategy in physical and virtual settings
- Communicate with the field force on congress needs/support
- Travel to congresses to support execution, when needed
- Oversee and work closely with the ELIQUIS HCP Directors to ensure tight execution of plans
Operational Lead, Starter/Samples
- Starter/Sample Management: Identify the right investment and allocation recommendations for starters - including assessment of the key business analytics, operational requirements and budget parameters
- Key contact to field force leadership in managing supply and demand of starters as well as mitigate inventory challenges
- Optimize print inventory and quantities for marketing assets
- Align on key plan commitments and decisions with BMS partners
Marketing Enablement & FF Engagement
- Pull through and execute on key marketing tactics to support our NVAF and VTE indications
- Work with a cross functional team to develop ELIQUIS specific content for IM academy
- Create close partnership and clear understanding of medical, legal and regulatory requirements to meet the needs of critical initiatives
- Manage both strategic initiatives and tactical development efforts requiring contributions of our Agencies
- Initiate and manage field force advisory boards throughout the year to develop and translate insights into actionable brand strategies
- Create regular cadence field communications that highlight new marketing assets
Budget
- Management of the HCP Budget: quarterly forecast (“latest estimate”) process and year end reconciliation of the HCP marketing budget
- Collaborate with BMS counterpart to appropriately manage the HCP budget
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degreeand 7+ years ofexperience, MBA and 6+ years of experience, or, PhD/equivalent and 2+ years of experience
- Demonstrated expertise and success in leading the development & execution of strategic/ tactical/measurement plans
- Strong business acumen, problem solving, judgment & collaboration skills
- Strong analytical capabilities and ability to uncover and apply insights
- Demonstrated focus on advancing health equity through HCP activation
- Ability to engage and influence cross-functional alliance team members, even without direct reporting relationships
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including with internal and external senior leaders
- Demonstrated ability to successfully manage advertising and/or other agencies
- Candidate demonstrates a breadth of diverse leadership experiences and capabilities

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- MBA/MPH preferred
- strong knowledge and track record of success in HCP Marketing preferred
- 3+ years pharma marketing experience preferred
TRAVEL OR ENVIRONMENT REQUIREMENTS
- Travel to a variety of National Congress events during the year as needed
- Travel to research initiatives, POAs and other key marketing or sales meetings as needed
- Travel to and from NYHQ/NJ for Pfizer or Alliance business needs
