Description
In this job, you will:

- Curate local storefronts and playlists to make sure our customers are presented with the most relevant tracks and best playlists available.
- Initiate successful campaigns around releases, and help partners understand and improve opportunities across the Apple ecosystem.
- Support and educate key partners on Apple Music.
- Manage and optimise communication channels and pitch processes with partners ensuring our Editorial Team gets comprehensive visibility on releases and back-catalogue opportunities.
- Work cross-functionally and liaise with all elements of Apple Music to identify, develop and execute on key artist and content opportunities.
- Analyze service performance and create locally relevant initiatives.
- Devise strategic partnerships with the Apple Music marketing team, creating plans to drive engagement and increase the subscription funnel.
- Develop and manage playlist brands, maintaining a deep understanding of musical culture and the lifestyles of different target audiences, across multiple musical genres.
- Create and pitch innovative ideas that can drive subscriber growth or engagement targeting diverse audiences.
- Work with various international teams to manage the scheduling of music releases and promotions.
- Be aware of topical cultural moments and local releases, building and executing on-store promotions and campaigns based on them.
- Maintain the Apple tone of voice and branding across Apple Music and iTunes.
- Follow a style guide, and work with content management systems.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Extensive Experience in a professional music industry role.
  • Deep understanding of the French music industry dynamics, including independent and major labels as well as competitor digital music services.
  • A deep understanding of music marketing in pop culture and how to apply principles to consistently grow Apple Music’s share of voice with partners with an emphasis on audience and artist led digital content strategy.
  • Fluency in English and French.

  • Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills inside a complex, cross-functional global business, ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong analytical skills and comfort with data reporting platforms.
  • Outstanding project management skills, with an ability to navigate ambiguity and hurdles to deliver best-in-class results.
  • Proven ability to work with content management systems.
  • Substantial relationship building skills with an ability to engage with a variety of personalities, industry execs, artists and managers.
  • Uncompromising ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Exceedingly responsive, passionate, proactive, thoughtful problem solver with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Innovative problem solver: continuously seeks to enhance and redefine the approach needed to grow the business, while delivering results on all priority projects.
