Responsibilities
Conduct security checks both inside and outside Foundation buildings to ensure perimeter safety. Monitor security cameras to identify any unauthorized visitors and promptly inform the relevant authorities when necessary. Remain vigilant for signs of mechanical malfunction such as leaks or unusual noises, and report them appropriately. Additionally, oversee the monitoring and inspection of mechanical equipment, ensuring it operates smoothly during non-standard hours. Keep a close eye on gauges and indicators to ensure machinery functions properly.

Check laboratories for alarms and promptly notify the responsible parties if any are detected. Secure laboratories, offices, and other assigned areas to maintain overall security. In case of emergencies, respond to Foundation emergency calls and radio communications, contacting the fire department, Foundation security, police department, contractors, or other necessary parties as required. Keep management informed about any issues and provide regular updates on the situation.

Monitor building automation systems and alarms, alerting relevant parties promptly in case of any problems. Assist in the maintenance, cleaning, and organization of mechanical and storage areas, as well as in the collection and replacement of biohazardous waste boxes. Support skilled workers in maintenance tasks, part replacement, and equipment repair as needed.

Maintain a safe work environment by adhering to safety regulations and federal guidelines. Given the nature of the work hours, be capable and willing to work independently. Engage in physical activities such as bending, stretching, lifting, and moving materials both inside and outside Foundation properties. Perform any other duties as assigned.


Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent, with basic computer knowledge required. Ability to stay composed and professional in challenging situations, respond promptly, and inform the appropriate personnel. Consistency, reliability, communication, and dependability are crucial. Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential.
