Program Manager, Diversity, Equity and Inclusion

Position Summary:

City of Hope is seeking a dedicated Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Program Manager (DE&IPM) to join our team. The DE&IPM will play a pivotal role in supporting the DE&I strategy, collaborating with key stakeholders, and driving initiatives focused on employee resource groups (ERGs).
As a successful candidate, you will:
- Implement deliverables to achieve the DE&I strategy.
- Lead the formation and expansion of Employee Resource Groups (ERGs).
- Establish clear governance and goals for ERGs tied to business impact.
- Develop innovative learning programs to drive D&I awareness and action.
- Plan and execute ERG events, including budgeting and marketing.
- Partner with Talent Acquisition and Talent Management on diversity recruitment and mentoring initiatives.
- Educate employees, leaders, and partners on recognizing and appreciating individual differences.
- Implement social media strategy for DE&I ERG opportunities.
- Develop innovative mentoring programs to drive DE&I engagement and development.
- Lead external community-facing initiatives and events for diverse populations.
- Stay updated on workforce trends and legal developments affecting DE&I policies.
- Build cross-functional relationships to drive project success.
- Assist in developing guidelines, policies, and programs to promote a diverse workforce.
- Incorporate diversity into all aspects of DE&I operations, including products and marketing campaigns.
Your qualifications should include:
- Bachelor's degree with emphasis in organizational development, behavioral in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (Master's degree preferred).
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience
- At least 5 years of experience in a Diversity and Inclusion position preferred
- DDI Certification preferred.
- Must be proficient in MSOffice Suite
- Strong understanding of DE&I best practices and industry trends.
- Excellent project management and organizational skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
- Commitment to integrity, confidentiality, and workplace ethics.

Salary / Pay Rate Information:
Pay Rate: $40.70 - $63.08 / hour
