The Department of Pharmacology and Chemical Biology at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine (www.pharmacology.us) invites applicants for a postdoc position up to four years to determine signaling mechanisms underlying the function of PTH-receptor and other GPCRs at the molecular/structural/cellular levels using TIRF/FRET/confocal/epifluorescence microscopy and cryo-EM. The information obtained will advance the development of new therapeutics for bone and mineral diseases, including medications for osteoporosis and kidney diseases.

A Ph.D. in Molecular Pharmacology or a related discipline (i.e., biochemistry, structural biology, biophysics, cell biology, etc.) is required.
