General Statement of Duties
The HCDA/HCO will be responsible for review of health data and assuring that all health students are compliant and up to date on health data prior to entering any clinical rotation. Work directly with the clerical support for the health programs to assure the timely entry of health data in the Health Care database. Working with the Dean, the CORI/SORI Administrator will assure that students are compliant with CORI/SORI standards. Implement the drug testing policy and review all drug tests to assure compliance and perform related work where required.
Working with the MWCC Health Services office, the HCDA/HCO will assure currency of all health data of all health students in the health programs adhering to clinical contract requirements, DPH and CDC;mpliance;
Contact students if health data is not up to date;
Work collaboratively with Dean, Directors and Chairs, the HCDA/HCO will ensure compliance of all drug testing, health data and CORI/SORI requirements;
Oversee the health database;
Review all CORI/SORI's and work directly with Dean of Students, Dean of HPPSS, Director of Nursing and Director of Dental Education;
Attend all health program's orientations to describe health data information, CORI/ SORI/Drug Screening;
Insure all students participate in drug screening as required;
Work with the Dean of Students, Dean of HPPSSS, Directors of nursing and dental educations to review and insure drug screening compliance;
Serve as a member of the CORI/SORI Review Board as needed;
Attend monthly Department Chairs Meeting as needed;
Work with admissions to assure compliance and communication of all health requirements;
Provide health data resources with all areas of the College as needed;

Performing other duties as assigned.
Bachelor's degree in Education, Counseling, Psychology, Business Administration, Mathematics, Computer Science, or other field related to area of assignment (Healthcare);
Three (3) years experience and/or training involving area of assignment (Healthcare); or
An equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
RN, LPN, Certified Medical Assistant. or Individuals with Healthcare experience;
Experience with interpreting immunizations;
Excellent written and oral communication skills;
Excellent organization skills;
Experience working with college students;
Experience in the CORI/SORI Process;
Experience with drug testing protocol.
